    Florida Power and Light Turtle Walks
    Turtles walks are available Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights during June and July, at the FPL St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant. The walks begin at 9pm and usually end around midnight. Reservations must be made after May 15 to participate.

    Moonlight Sea Turtle Walks
    The Moonlight Sea Turtle Walks begin at the Museum of Discovery and Science with an educational, hands-on session about land, salt-water and fresh-water turtles. The group is then lead by Museum Staff to Fort Lauderdale Beach to find nesting turtles. Tours are available during the months of May, June and July. Advance reservations are required.

    Sea Turtle Preservation Society Turtle Walks

    Reservations for this turtle walk are required, and can be made along with a donation to support the research, education and rescue operations of the Sea Turtle Preservation Society. The walks are available on Monday-Wednesday and Friday-Saturday in June and Monday, Wednesday and Friday-Saturday in July.

    Sea Turtle Awareness
    Participants of the Sea Turtle Awareness program are invited to browse through an assortment of displays and view a slide presentation highlighting the past and future of sea turtles. After a question and answer period with a park ranger, a beach walk in search of nesting loggerheads is led, weather permitting, along the shore of the John U. Lloyd Beach State Park. Turtle walks are available by reservation from May-July on Wednesdays and Fridays.

    Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge Turtle Walks

    The Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge turtle walks are available Tuesday and Thursday evenings during June and July. The maximum number of people per group is 30, with no minimum age restrictions. Reservations are accepted April 1st and a donation to the center is requested.

    Turtle walks on Juno Beach are available on select nights in June and July from the Marinelife Center. Beginning at 9pm, and typically ending at midnight, the walk covers a half-mile radius of the beach. Reservations are required and are accepted starting May 1.

    Turtle Walks from the Sebastian Inlet State Recreational Area
    Participants of this turtle walk are led by a Sebastian Inlet State Park ranger along the shores of both Melbourne and Melbourne Beach. Giant sea turtles and nesting loggerhead turtles are the focus of this walk, beginning at 9pm and ending around midnight. Reservations for June will be taken on May 15th and for July on June 15th.

    Turtle Walks from the Gumbo Limbo Environmental Complex
    Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday night during May through July, the Gumbo Limbo Environmental Complex offers guided turtle walks. Each walk occurs from 9pm to 11:30pm, by reservation, with a video and short lecture before hand. A Junior Sea Turtle specialist program is also available where children can learn the basics of marine conservation and track endangered sea turtles.
